Wednesday December 9th – “Vespers
Service” 7:00PM An evening of music,
silence, and prayer or contemplation in
the Taize style of worship, our vespers
(evening) service is an invitation to find
calm amidst the rush of the holiday
season. Taize worship was developed by
the Taize order in France and has been
embraced by a vast and growing
ecumenical community. Our worship is
all ages. Chants in Latin and English
will be shared by Clarice Douoguih,
John Heaton, Shelly Tamres, and Del
Ward. Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael will
offer words of prayer and meditation.
Candles of hope may be lit and all will
be invited to join in the songs and the
silence. Come as you are and find peace
among community.
