How we talk about politics- Blueberry picking is the metaphor Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael uses to describe the art of engaging with one another in political discourse.  As religious people, Unitarian Universalists admit the efficacy of doubt in the spiritual search.  As political people, we stand often unshakably on assumptions of certainty.  Why is there a discrepancy between the two methods and what does it do to our religious community?  Special music will come from a gust violinist.
