Building Your Theology I – Specifically for, but not limited to, newcomers to
Unitarian Universalis, and newcomers to UUS. Based on the assumption that everyone is their own
theologian, this classic UU adult education program invites participants to
develop their own personal credos (statements of principles or beliefs). 10 sessions, second and fourth Wednesdays
beginning September 24th.
Living by Heart – A practice based curriculum by Laurel Hallman that invites
us to experament with an eclectic collection of spiritual practices. Laurel
writes: “As we look forward to the prospect of living even longer lives, the
question of the quality of our lives becomes more pressing. In my mentor, Harry Scholefiled, I saw an
example of enduring wisdom and spiritual strength despite the inevitable ebb of
his physical vigor as he aged. My
experiences with Harry, (and others) confirmed my sense of the essential need
for all of us to be intentional about the words, rhymes, and rythems we take
into our lives.” 13 sessions, once
monthly to being in October. Day, to be
determined by group.
