There are many ways to get involved at UUCS. Here are just a few:
Pastoral Care Team Member – The Pastoral Care Team is comprised of the Minister(s), the Pastoral Care Associates, and a team of note writers. This team is dedicated to providing competent and confidential pastoral care to our congregation. Pastoral Care involves both deep listening and practical support. If you’d like to become a Pastoral Care Associate, please email the Pastoral Care Team.
Communications Team Member – The UUCS Communications Committee needs new members with any of the following skills/interests: writers, social media (Facebook, Twitter), video/YouTube, photographers. Please contact Jackie Mills for more information.
New Space Team Member – UUCS is looking for a new space, either a permanent purchased facility or a new rental. Are you interested in leading us in this exciting venture? Do you like to think creatively? Do you have an interest in looking at real estate? Do you love UUCS and want it to live into a bold future? Contact Paul Roche with your interest.
Welcome and Hospitality — A great way to connect with others while you give of your self is providing welcome and hospitality on Sunday mornings and at special events throughout the year. Contact the Membership Team for more information.
Sound Master — Do you like to make noise? Our Sound Masters make it possible for us to hear our worship services. They also record sermons and special music. Plus, they work with the fabulous musicians at special concerts. Becoming a sound master is a great way to serve our congregation while learning fun skills and meeting interesting people. Regular leaders and assistants can expect to lead or assist one Sunday a month. Substitutes can expect to fill in once every third month. Contact Linda Weaver, our Religious Education Director.
Lifespan Religious Education Council Member – The council helps plan and implement the religious education program for children, youth, and adults and promotes multigenerational community building. Do you have ideas to share? Enjoy creating connections with people of all ages? Or like planning parties? For more information, please contact Linda Weaver, our Religious Education Director.
