Universalism… Our Saving Grace? – In 1920, Olympia Brown gave her final sermon entitled “The Opening Doors” a few weeks after the passage of the 19th Amendment. This victory sermon was a reminder to the Universalists in Racine, Wisconsin to remember their faith and to fight for justice. The blessing of Universalism is our shared destiny as human beings. On this anniversary of the birth of Universalism in America let’s look at grace, faith, and how our UU faith brings us hope. Joshua Long will lead this service.
