Who Are We? – The theme for the 2019 UUA General Assembly was “The Power of We.” When Rev. Marta Valentin gave the sermon at the Sunday worship service, however, she asked, ‘Who is the “we”?’ In this service, seminarian Karyn Bergmann Marsh will explore Unitarian Universalist identity in the 21st century. Karyn Bergmann Marsh is a third year seminarian at Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, California. Prior to entering seminary, Ms. Marsh was an environmental attorney and geologist. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Towson Unitarian Universalist Church, where she has been an active member for eleven years.
