Join us on April 27 for a concert by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington DC’s Rock Creek Singers at UUCS for an evening of music and fun to benefit Equality Virginia, the leading advocacy organization in Virginia seeking equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. The performance begins at 7PM, and doors open at 6 PM for a reception where there will be drinks, including beer and wine, and hors d’oeuvres. This event is a wonderful expression of our commitment to justice and equality, and is a great night of entertainment. We’ll be treated to the sounds of a world-renowned chorus, providing a diversity of music styles. Equality Virginia believes in a truly inclusive Commonwealth where all are equally valued, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and a Virginia that is a safe, welcoming, and equal place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their families to live, work, and play.
