PART TIME TEACHER

Duties:
Prepare for and teach a 45-minute class three to four Sundays per month September through May. Inspire children in 2nd through 5th grade to develop compassion, open-mindedness, and spiritual connection through lessons based on a pre-selected curriculum.

Wages and Hours:
Pay is approximately $15 per hour and includes planning time in addition to time in the classroom from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Sundays. Additional time teaching a 9:30am PK-5th grade class may also be available.

Required:
Demonstrated ability to relate to young children and others using good interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.

Preferred:
Experience as a preschool or elementary school teacher.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Familiarity with Unitarian Universalist religious education.
