“Poetry & Performance with Regie Cabico”

Regie is a renowned spoken word poet and teacher who will guide us in the practice of writing poetry from the heart after a brief 30 minute service. The inspiration of other’s poetry will help all of us explore writing and even speaking if desired. Students from Parkview HS who recently participated in four workshops with Regie along with teacher, Megan O’Meara, will also recite their work. The school’s and this Sunday’s workshops were sponsored by UUCS and funded by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
