As We Honor Our Ancestors – Many of the world’s cultures honor their ancestors. Mexican people do this in a Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) Celebration. Celtic and Neo-Pagan communities celebrate Samhain in which one of the traditions is to honor the ancestors. Both of these festivals are celebrated around the same time as the celebration of Halloween. In this interactive and intergenerational service, Rev. Aileen will help us reflect on those people in our lives who have died and hold space for them with a ritual altar of remembrance.
