We will host the Rock Creek Singers, a 34-member ensemble of the Gay Men’s Chorus, to sing for our benefit to support Equality Virginia. The event will be held at 7 p.m. on May 13th 2017 at UUCS, 22135 Davis Drive, Suite 105, Sterling, VA. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a reception where we’ll serve drinks, including beer and wine, and hors d’oeuvres. This annual event has been wonderful expression of our commitment to justice and equality, and is a great night of entertainment. We’re treated to the sounds of a world-renowned chorus, providing a diversity of music styles and a night of fun. Tickets are $15 and will be sold beginning in May after Sunday services, and then at the door just before the event. We look forward to seeing you there.

About Equality Virginia
Equality Virginia believes in a truly inclusive Commonwealth where all are equally valued regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and a Virginia that is a safe, welcoming, and equal place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their families to live, work, and play. EV’s strategy for achieving this vision includes connecting with elected officials, engaging the business community, increasing transgender visibility, strengthening community organizations, and creating inclusive schools.
Current programs include our officeholder accountability campaigns in Loudoun and Prince William counties, signing up local businesses that don’t discriminate against gay or transgender customers or employees through Equality Means Business, and the transgender advocacy speaker’s bureau.
