Building a loving, diverse, caring community

Strategic Plan

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling Strategic Planning Committee was appointed by the UUCS Board of Trustees and was charged with developing a vision, gathering information, identifying key focal areas, and formulating reasonable goals and recommendations for the next 3 to 5 years, as well as setting an implementation timeline. The Strategic Planning Committee has developed this plan in consultation with the minister, the Board of Trustees, key staff members, committee leaders, and interested members of the congregation. We sought input from the congregation via a series of Post-Service Forums and a Strategic Planning survey (offered in both online and paper formats).

The Strategic Planning Committee has made the plan available for review. Draft versions of the Plan have been reviewed by the Board of Trustees, by committee leaders, and by staff. The draft was also presented during a Post-Service forum. The final version of the plan was presented at a Sunday Service in early April 2013 and is posted online below.
