We will begin by planning how to explore the theme “Love is Love” in thumbnail and sketches. Inspired by art history works such as Henri Mattise’s painting, “Dance,” and “The Embrace”, a new sculpture by Hank Willis Thomas just installed in Boston in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King. Moving to acrylic paint, we will also make expressive abstract work. All art materials are provided by UUCS and the arts committee.
